Laugh is divine! In situations of adversity there is a healthy rebellion in laughter. When you laugh, your right brain engages and lights up. Its creativity will get you out of the most absurd situations.

Laugh is divine! In situations of adversity there is a healthy rebellion in laughter. When you laugh, your right brain engages and lights up. Its creativity will get you out of the most absurd situations.

At the same time, your left-brain (the one of reason, critical and analytical) stays still. This is not its field so it remains quiet.

When you laugh, you are in the present moment. You do not want to escape somewhere else. This feels so good.

You do not think of the past or the future in the moment of laughter. While it can be a memory of a past situation or a projection into the future that makes you laugh, it is in the present moment that your body and mind are in perfect harmony. Everything seems to be perfectly in place.

Laugh is a source of rejuvenation. Let the nourishment of laughter be included in your daily life. Knowingly seek sources of laughter (by watching movies or funny sketches). Go to improvisational theatre.

Or simply look for the company of people who bring laughter with them. Beware of people who have no sense of humour. Observe the traits of people who like to laugh and the ones that do not. You will probably notice the rigidity of the latter and the beauty of the former.
